STAR AquaCenter is searching for talented volunteers to join our communications team. You’ll play a key role in helping us tell our story, raise awareness about our mission, and inspire others to support our cause.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop creative and engaging content for various platforms, including newsletters, social media posts, website copy, and promotional materials.
  • Research and write stories about STAR AquaCenter’s impact, programs, and beneficiaries.
  • Assist with content strategy and brainstorm new ideas to engage our audience.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication channels.
  • Utilize your creativity to develop visually appealing content, such as infographics or photos. (Skills in photography or graphic design are a plus, but not required!)

  • A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and common content creation tools (we can provide training if needed!).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with content creation, social media marketing, or copywriting.
  • Skills in photography, graphic design, or videography.
  • Existing knowledge of STAR AquaCenter’s mission and programs (we’ll provide training as well!).

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule, with volunteer opportunities available throughout the week.
  • Time commitment will vary depending on the projects undertaken.
